Membership Dues Categories

  • OT Annual Membership - $96/year - membership for a licensed occupational therapist
  • OT Annual Sustaining Membership with monthly payment option - $8/month - membership for a licensed occupational therapist
  • OTA Annual Membership - $72/year - membership for a licensed occupational therapy assistant
  • OTA Annual Sustaining Membership with monthly payment option - $6/month - membership for a licensed occupational therapy assistant
  • New OT Practitioner Annual Membership - $48/year - membership for an occupational therapist who is newly licensed or seeking licensure for the first two years after graduation from an entry-level occupational therapy program
  • New OTA Practitioner Annual Membership - $36/year - membership for an occupational therapy assistant who is newly licensed or seeking licensure for the first two years after graduation from an entry-level occupational therapy assistant program 
  • Student Annual Membership - $25/year - membership for those enrolled in an accredited entry-level occupational therapy or occupational therapy assistant program
  • Multistate Annual Membership - $48/year - membership for an occupational therapist or occupational therapy assistant who lives in a state outside of Illinois or whose primary state OT association membership is within another state
  • Retired Annual Membership - $30/year - membership for an individual who was previously eligible for another ILOTA membership category but is no longer working due to retirement or disability
  • Associate Annual Membership (now available!) - $96/year – membership for an individual who is interested in promoting occupational therapy in Illinois, but is not eligible for membership in other categories

More Information on our New Practitioner Membership Categories

  • After current Student Members graduate, when their ILOTA membership anniversary date comes up they will have the opportunity to renew at the New Practitioner level.
  • New OT Practitioner annual membership dues will be $48/year and New OTA Practitioner annual membership dues will be $36/year. These dues levels are 50% off the corresponding annual membership dues for more experienced practitioners. (Our current Student membership dues are $25/year.)
  • The New Practitioner dues levels are valid for up to two years following their graduation date. After the two-year period, the New Practitioners may renew their ILOTA membership at the standard dues rates.
  • New Practitioner members will have all of the same membership rights and privileges as our more experienced members.
  • New graduates who are not currently Student Members may join ILOTA at the New Practitioner dues rates.
  • The New Practitioner membership categories are effective immediately.
