ILOTA Community Outreach Committee

This committee aims to address the need for increasing awareness of occupational therapy within the community. The three subcommittees, described below, work on different yet related efforts to help promote our wonderful profession. These ongoing efforts are dependent upon our invaluable volunteers for the success of this initiative, so we need your help! If you are an ILOTA member and are interested in volunteering for this committee, please email [email protected].

Connections in the Community – The Connections in the Community Subcommittee facilitates partnerships between OT professionals, students, and local community organizations to promote the profession to potential future applicants. The subcommittee supports interested volunteers with resources to prepare to showcase the profession to students of a variety of different backgrounds using a variety of different teaching styles.
